This area emerged in the Ice Age, when a system of underground rivers stretching hundreds of miles was formed. The Mayans called them “Dznot.” Today, these fresh-water sinkholes have been explored and equipped for diving.
The visibility in the crystalline waters and the imposing stalactites that decorate the caverns’ interiors make the cenotes one of a kind in the world, something you won’t want to miss.
We will take you to the Mayan Cenotes in groups of up to 4 people, always accompanied by a spelunking-certified guide. Following a short car ride, we will enter the jungle to dive in the area’s most striking cenotes: Chac Mool, Dos Ojos, Taj Mahal, Ponderosa, Grand Cenote…
To guarantee both the fun and your safety, we follow all the rules established for this type of diving:
We plan trips several times a week, departing at 8:30 a.m. and returning at approximately 2:30 p.m., after two hours of diving in the caverns. Our shuttles are air conditioned.
